A Journey From Chaos To Organized Creativity

Updated: Nov 29, 2019

Making my mind into a dream creator

A Kalpavriksha

Introduction:

Yes! What a great idea, and as soon as I sat down to write it, it was gone. The idea became foggy and my clarity vanished as it came. I need to find a system a method to organize my ideas, my thoughts so I can recall them effortlessly and perhaps even improve my overall ability to remember.

Foreword:

Do you ever find it difficult to begin your tasks, complete assignments and stay ahead of your working schedule?

Perhaps you have experienced that state of mind, where nothing is clear, all seems foggy and if you just push through, your actions are just a mess of everything and nothing.

Content:

I’ll cover 3 methods that worked great for me to finally organize my mind, bring my ideas from chaos into practical steps and their wonderful reality.

  1. Mind Mapping

  2. Overlook

  3. Why, How & What

The Ultimate Students need to organize their minds to bring their ideas, action, energy, and emotions into alignment with their vision and dreams to become a reality.

Step #5 in the course is for learning and practicing to organize those 50-80.000 thoughts per day that the mind can access.

Here are the 3 methods:

Method 1 - Mind Mapping

To really get a visual representation of how our mind works when we pay attention to our thoughts and when we focus on a certain topic, mind mapping is the key. You pick a central topic as your desired focus. Let’s say, My Dreams. With that topic in mind, I now enter all ideas and whatever comes to my mind in association with thinking of “My Dreams”.

Here is that mind map.

This Mind Map is a quick Brainstorm of My Dreams and with some additional sub-topics to what that is associated with.
Mind Mapping - My Dreams

As you can see in the mind map, I am simply typing in the ideas and words that show up for me, as I am thinking of “My Dreams”. I also took it a step further to think of some of the sub-ideas related to my dreams, to specify deeper what they are to me. This map helps me to take action daily and identify what has value to me.

I can use the mind mapping for many things, such as a topic I am studying, e.g. “C# - A programming language”, or “Supplements that bring balance to the body’s hormones” or “Financial Freedom”. All these topics I do just like the mind map of “My Dreams”.

As I make the mind maps, I allow all ideas to be, everything that can flow will go on the map. Then afterward it’s time for organizing and put ideas together that are sharing the same categories. Finally, I add pictures and small links that can inspire me even deeper into each sub-topic.

As we make mind maps and work with the ideas we have in mind. We learn to focus our attention and put words to the images and feelings which we associate with that topic. We also learn to organize and develop associations for all ideas to be. This actually creates new synapses and connections in the brain for later references and action-taking when needed.

Let’s go to the second method for making the mind a dream creator!

Method 2 - Overlook

As we experience life, we develop a timeline for everything that has happened up until this moment. That timeline is important to identify what actions, thoughts, events that have supported us for arriving at the place we experience ourselves to be right now.

Here is a visualization of going above this very moment. Draw a timeline from now and backward to all experiences you see relevant for doing, being and experiencing this very moment.

I see myself sitting here writing this article, and when I look back on the events that have accumulated to make it all possible I’m literally in awe of the way life works.

Let’s look into what comes to mind:

I learned to write in elementary school and practicing to express myself in words ever since. I started to play poker at University, as an independent choice to follow my passion and idea to become my own boss. As I encountered difficulties in staying disciplined, emotional instability and a vague self-reflection I turned my attention to self-development. I had a couple of great friends at University and along the path of self-reflection and self-realization. I had a daughter with my ex-girlfriend and she decided to move to Iceland. I felt like I had nothing to lose after this and devoted myself to simply follow my dreams and the ability to share one vision with everything. That vision is, that we are creators of our dreams and we do so by using imagination, energy and allow the force to flow in the direction of it to come true.

Now I am sitting here, teaching the insights I gathered, got access too along the path and I am sitting in my friend's house, taking care of it for him. I am developing the platform for living my dream life to be with my daughter, to meet people ready to bring their visions to life and having an amazing time with my girlfriend. What love and awe I have been given and I see even bigger wonders coming along this path!

So here is a little glimpse of some of the events that I see has had an impact on why I am here now, writing this very article for you and me to read.

The overlook is a way to connect the dots and gain access to see, what choices you have made and how they have an effect on all things to be.

Connecting The Dots

Method 3 - Why, How & What by Simon Sinek

So as I have an open mind, I learn from everything and anyone, at least that’s what I aspire to. A lesson learned from living on the streets, my illusive idea of being joyful and what that should be, changed as I was very happy with almost nothing, not even knowing where I was to sleep the night to come. Many people have and are my teachers, as they all in some way or another reflect something within myself. Simon Sinek paved a way to gain energy and fuel for the passion and life I dream to create.

Simon Sinek just asked, Why are you doing this? How are you doing it? What are you doing?

I used the method especially for the creation of my company A Mind For You.

Why I started it? my why is to give a deep understanding and inner peace of ourselves as we can create anything we see in our minds. Knowing that brings life but also peace within. That is a value I love to bring forth to a world in a hurry to get it all.

How am I doing it? I do it by being an example of the teaching in the course, oh and I teach it within a course of 9 steps. I made the structure for the course to give people clarity of the content and training involved in the course.

What am I doing? I create content for students to get inspired by, to get curious about their own abilities and gain the courage to take the step to master their minds and create their dreams.

I teach A Mind For You by various methods developed through my own and everyone’s insights who started to train and master their minds. Yoga, Science, Philosophy, New Age, Stoicism, Bruce Lee - Jeet Kune Do, The Buddha - Meditation, Zen and many many others. I have taken what I found essential and made it into something I can teach. I do it through writing, videos, daily talks, through my relationship, platforms such as facebook, youtube and I do it by being my creation in every way and all ways, cutting everything, not in alignment.

The method of asking why, how and what is beautifully compatible with mind mapping. The mind map is a great structure to direct our thinking and organizing our minds concerning what is focused on.

The benefits of applying these 3 methods

As I started to apply these 3 methods consistently every week, my actions and train of thought have been laser-sharp. My ability to work focused is incomparable with any other effort I have made to work on the projects and ideas in mind.

My memory has improved, my ability to arrange a dinner, plan events, structure an article and even a complete course has become effortless and fun, as opposed to the chaotic struggle beforehand.

I learn faster, I adopt my new acquired knowledge quicker as I connect associations with the project I currently work on.

Overall I see myself self-organized and consistently re-organizing to fulfill the desires and dreams I am passionate about.

I have gained clarity of mind and love the effectiveness of using it. Before I could easily be distracted, unfocused for just a few seconds and that would be enough to lose my line of thought and thus spending a lot of unnecessary time regaining that focus and clarity.

My sincere farewell to this old pattern of behavior and welcome to my clear, structured and organized mind helping me to finish my tasks with ease and grace.

Thank you for reading along this journey and I hope you got curious about what Mind Mapping, Overlook training and finding your WHY can benefit your dreams to come true.
